Painter Gregg Caudell, sculptor Simon Kogan and water colorists Paula Christen exhibit their work at the Confluence Gallery, Twisp, Wa. June 16 - July 28.
Titled, "Eats the Sun", painter Gregg Caudell exhibits over 30 pieces of his interpretation of the theme "Eats the Sun". Caudell says, "Horses are my muse and have been my life. We both get our nourishment from light. I paint it, they eat it." Beside being a painter, Gregg has worked draft horses in the woods, on the farm and recreationally for 40 years. His painting reflects that knowledge.
Simon Kogan is a world class artist that will be showing some incredible work in bronze. "I invited Simon out to the ranch and he sets up this wax maquette and pulls off a stunning portait of me trimming my horse "Lucky". I'm proud to say my first investment in bronzes was my own portrait! He's inspiring and a master painter,sculptor and artist".
